Welcome back to this week's episode! We're joined by Olivia Ih, calling in all the way from Paris.
Olivia is the definition of a supermom: she's MC'd at renowned global events, taught French to Korean diplomats, raised three children, and competes at a near-professional level in golf, all while carrying herself with warmth and an infectious brightness that comes through in every word. In this episode, we explore the power of language learning, the value of cross-cultural curiosity, and what it really means to keep an open mind. For Olivia, that openness isn't just a personality trait; it's the very thing she credits for her success and her happiness.
Whether you're a fellow multitasker wondering how to find balance, or simply someone who admires people who live boldly and fully, this conversation has something for you. We also make room for the lighter things — the quirks of French kissing culture, the comfort of a home-cooked meal, and the small joys that make a big life feel grounded.
Every minute, you'll learn something new. I promise.
If this episode floated your boat, come back next week around this time of the week for another episode. Until then, stay positive and stay seoul-ful!

had the privilege of sitting down with designer, artist, creative director, CEO—and the many other roles she seamlessly takes on—Kelita Choi, founder of Kelita & Co., one of Korea’s most renowned branding studios.
I’ve never heard anyone explain brands and branding quite the way she does. Like people, she says, brands are born—but they also grow, evolve, wither, and renew. The role of a branding company is to capture the essence of a brand and protect it through all the changes it is bound to experience, preserving the identity at its very core.
Beyond her dedication to creating meaningful logos and visual identities, Kelita is deeply passionate about gardening, paper, travel, and artistic immersion in all its forms. One of my favorite insights from our conversation was her philosophy that life should be lived like a sandwich: first, tackle the parts you may not enjoy (think the lettuce and tomatoes), but always leave room for the parts you love (the ham and cheese). Without that balance, she believes, burnout is inevitable—and life becomes unsustainable.
I could say so much more about this conversation, but I’ll leave the rest for you to discover. Stay for the full 40 minutes—yes, our longest episode yet—because every minute is worth it.
Join me again next week for another special guest! Until then, stay positive, and stay “soul” (Seoul)-ful:)!

Welcome back to this week's episode with Nayeon Kim from Seoul, Korea.

Welcome back to Episode 32!
This week I sat down with Haelim Jun, founder of Plus 8, for one of those conversations that goes everywhere — in the best way. We kick things off with the origin story of Plus 8: what it is, why she built it, and the community of women she had in mind from the very beginning. Then we get into the personal stuff — the growth, the hard lessons, the moments that shifted her perspective in ways she didn't see coming. Haelim is the kind of person who says the quiet part out loud, and this conversation is full of those moments. And yes, we absolutely go off on a few tangents (Korean gomtang featured)!
Come for the business insight, stay for the real talk, and leave feeling inspired and connected:)
Stay tuned for next week's episode!

Welcome to Episode 30—and happy Easter to those who celebrate!
Today’s guest is M&A advisor Yongmin Kwon. Unlike many of my previous guests, Yongmin is based in the Netherlands, while most of her family remains in her hometown of South Korea. As an accomplished, tenacious, and deeply empathetic leader, she has built a meaningful career and life far from home—approaching each day with a commitment to listening to and caring for others, whether they’re her clients or not.
I hope this conversation serves as a reminder that professional labels—“lawyer,” “doctor,” “investor”—don’t define the limits of who we are. They shouldn’t prevent us from being fully human: joyful, compassionate, and connected. Yongmin embodies this beautifully. Even in one of the most demanding fields, she leads with calm, openness, and an unwaveringly optimistic mindset.
Stay tuned for Episode 31 next week!

Welcome back to Episode 29—and thank you so much for your patience over the past couple of weeks. I’m so excited to be back on schedule :)
Today’s guest is Hyunsoo Yang, Director at the Ministry of Labor, currently seconded to the Blue House. In her professional role, she works at the center of some of Korea’s most critical issues—overseeing workplace safety, supporting employment stability, and strengthening government–employee relations.
But beyond her title, she is so much more. At home, she’s a warm, witty, and deeply present mother to a middle schooler. She’s also a passionate wine enthusiast, a social connector, and someone committed to strength training and personal well-being. As she puts it, “No matter what, life is about having fun.” It’s a reminder I think many of us need—including myself.
I hope you enjoy this episode 🤍
As always, stay tuned for more episodes coming your way. I have an exciting line-up of guests in the coming weeks, so follow us @seoulfulsisters on Instagram for more regular updates!

Welcome to episode 28! I hope Valentine's week went splendidly for everyone!
In this inspiring conversation, I sit down with Sora Lee, founder of Hustle & Heart, a women’s wellness brand, and Kurated Agency, a platform connecting large Korean beauty brands to U.S. markets. As a pioneering female entrepreneur and single mom, Sora shares her journey of building purpose-driven businesses while balancing motherhood, ambition, and personal well-being. We talk about cultivating self-confidence, chasing bold goals without burnout, managing time with intention, and redefining what it truly means to be happy, healthy, and beautiful—inside and out. This episode is a heartfelt reminder that success isn’t about perfection, but about leading with resilience, clarity, and heart.

Hi all! Welcome back to episode 27! Thank you for being patient with me last week:)
In Episode 27, I sit down with Dr. Moon to talk about the messy, non-linear journey that brought her here. From growing up as a Korean American immigrant and constantly moving schools to getting into Cornell, thinking she’d become a veterinarian, only to realize that path wasn’t for her, Dr. Moon shares how uncertainty, grit, and an unshakeable work ethic have shaped her life and career. We talk about changing directions, keeping your eye on the goal, and how success and happiness rarely follows a straight line. This episode is a reminder that our mindsets shape our thoughts, which shape our behaviors, which ultimately shape our outcomes. It's all about the MINDSET!

Hi everyone! Welcome back to Episode 26. I’m so excited to introduce today’s guest, Ms. Eunhae Kang, the youngest C-level executive at Korea’s KG Mobility Group.
Not only is Ms. Kang the youngest to hold this highest-ranking senior position, but she is also one of the few women at the executive level—making her career journey both challenging and deeply rewarding as she continues to break barriers and reach new milestones. As a new mother to a constantly on-the-go three-year-old, Ms. Kang has learned the importance of balancing confidence with openness. As she puts it, sometimes “you have to be selfish,” while also learning to “unlearn, even when you feel like you know everything.”
I absolutely love these words, and after listening to our conversation, I know you’ll understand why they mean so much to Ms. Kang—and why they resonate so powerfully with us as aspiring female leaders, wherever our paths may take us.
Be sure to join me again in one week for Episode 27. Until then, I’m wishing everyone a great, happy, and positive week!

Hey everyone! I can’t believe we’ve already reached Episode 25. And guess who’s joining me today? Another incredible working mom practicing M&A law in South Korea—surprise, surprise! 😊 We love powerful lawyers and mothers here on Seoulful Sisters.
Ms. Kang is a senior partner with over a decade of experience at one of Seoul’s most prestigious law firms. She’s also a proud mom to a soon-to-be college student and to Coco, her beloved mini-bichon. While balancing so many responsibilities can feel overwhelming, Ms. Kang grounds herself in small moments of joy and a deep belief that perseverance and passion ultimately lead to success.
And they truly have—for her, success isn’t just about professional achievements, but about continuous growth and character development. I hope her story reminds you that real growth often comes from years of layered experiences that slowly guide you toward stability and contentment.
Who knows? Maybe one day you’ll find yourself in Ms. Kang’s shoes—discussing future mergers over dinner with world-renowned CEOs, then heading home to a hyper dog wondering why you’re back so late. ^^ No matter where life takes you, remember this: you are becoming someone great.
Stay tuned for next week's episode.
